For a balanced day, pair the Arc with part of the Champs-Élysées and one other planned stop. For late-afternoon light, look up sunset for your actual date and allow for checks and the climb. Do not promise children an exact rooftop arrival minute: crowds and operating conditions can affect the pace.
With children: making the visit comfortable
Important information checked on 28 October 2026: the official website reports the lift unavailable since late July 2026, with access via 284 steps and a reopening update expected for 2027. Check the current position before booking, particularly with young children or mobility difficulties. Pushchairs are not used inside; ask staff about storage arrangements.
Getting there from Disneyland Paris
The area is served by RER A at Charles-de-Gaulle–Étoile; check current services and works from Chessy or Val d’Europe. Reach the monument using Passage du Souvenir from the Champs-Élysées or Avenue de la Grande-Armée. Do not cross the roundabout on foot. A KS driver arranges an authorised local drop-off, not a replacement for the monument’s pedestrian access.
