Our suggested approach to the day
Start with the opening season. For 2026, the official site announces 1 April to 1 November, 10 am to 6 pm, with last admission at 5:30 pm. Do not assume another year follows exactly the same dates. We suggest house and gardens, lunch in the village and time for a walk. Add a museum only if its exhibition interests you and the group has enough energy.
With children: making the visit comfortable
With children, look for colours, shapes and reflections while staying on authorised paths. Flowering changes with the season: no photograph guarantees the same blooms on your date. Dress for the weather and travel light. House and garden accessibility differ; the official information states that the house is not wheelchair accessible.
Getting there from Disneyland Paris
Giverny is in Normandy, west of Paris, and deserves a full day from Disneyland Paris. For public transport, check a complete route to Vernon–Giverny and the final village connection for your date.
